MOVIES MEDIA WORKSHOP SERIES -- Women Make Movies is
excited to offer our Spring Media Workshop Series from March
through June. The workshops have panels with guests from the
Film Forum, the MacArthur Foundation, the Sundance Documentary
Fund, Zeitgeist Films, among other film and video funders.

The Davis-Putter Scholarship
Fund has applications available for student activists
who are building the progressive movement and will be enrolled
in school during the 2003-04 academic year. The following
announcement should answer any questions about the Fund, our
scholarships, the students we support, and the process for
applying for a grant. If you are interested, or know someone who

is looking for 10 black lesbians who are 50 and over to
participate in a small study. The sessions will help you
learn and practice techniques to keep yourselves mobile in the
coming years....(including getting up off the floor with some
grace). :) The sessions are scheduled to begin March 18,

The Black Lesbian Elder Speak
Project -- Voices missing from the last Zuna Conferences
were those who are over 55 years of age. This will not occur at
this year’s ZUNA Institute National Conference which is
scheduled for April 11-13th, 2003 in Los Angeles, California.
Zuna Institute in partnership with Progressive Research &
Training for Action and The Lesbian Health Research Center
University California San Francisco will conduct The Black
Lesbian Elder Speak Project.

African-American Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Coming
Out Experiences Sends Out Call For Participants -- Los
Angeles, CA ( Dec. 06, 2002) Barely Breaking Even Productions, a
collaboration between journalist and publicist Jasmyne Cannick
and long time activist and writer Charlotte M. Young, are
seeking participants for a full length documentary film
exploring coming out stories of African-American gay, lesbian,
bisexual and transgender people.

performing stand-up. The tour will be entitled "The Karen
Williams Comic SuperBITCH Tour" for the brave and for the
