This position is responsible for
providing support to the Marketing and Project Director. Leads, assists and supports special events and marketing. Builds
and nurtures community relationships. Performs general office duties. Participates as a member of the marketing department
and other selected Food Bank projects and teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides Marketing and Projects Director with general administrative
support
- Builds and fosters community relationships.
- Leads, assists and supports special events and marketing.
- Supports the Atlanta's Table project
- Participates as a member of the overall Marketing and Promotions
Department
- Performs general office duties
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience with special events, marketing and promotions.
- Ability to build and nurture community partners (board members, donors,
agencies, etc.)
- Office management skills to help organize, plan, execute, and monitor
multiple supportive activities.
- Excellent oral communication and creative writing skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Detail oriented, ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
concurrently, at times in a fast paced environment.
- Valid driver's license
- Expert knowledge of MS Office Suit, MS Publisher, and Adobe Photoshop
