<description>Thanks for sharing, and reminding us all about taking our days and our movements for granted. Glad to see that you&#039;re still here - even with all of your struggles.

<description>As a cancer survivor, I can personally speak of the miraculous healing and love Reiki brought to me during the whole ENTIRE cancer experience and beyond. The day after diagnosis, I started searching for holistic and complimentary healing modalities that would help with what they told me was about to happen to my life. That&#039;s when I found a book about Reiki in the bookstore, sat on the floor, and read the whole thing. Wow, something I could go to for sessions but also do on myslef when preparing for surgeries, in pain, anxious, or receiving treatments! Now that was what I found unique and life-altering. Sure, you can go to someone for sessions (it was the one thing I did every 3 weeks during my year of treatments), but Reiki is also about self-care, doing it at home when the pain or fear showed its ugly head. Out came MY OWN &quot;hands of light&quot; and did Reiki on and for myself to ease the discomfort. Driving in the car, watching TV, showering, Reiki is the ultimate self-healing tool! Now cancer free for 4 years, I was insprired to gather friends and start a nonprofit organization to raise awareness about Reiki in the community and healthcare field. Our association has been volunteering Reiki sessions to patients while they receive their chemo treatments for a year now at a local Cancer clinic here in Oregon. There&#039;s even a doctor and a couple of nurses on staff with Reiki training. Our goal, having Reiki accessible to patients everywhere in all settings.

Light, Blessings, and Peace

<description>I think it&#039;s remarkable how you get through a day, with all that you have to remember and with the little sleep you get I think you&#039;re amazing.
My Reiki master Reikiann has helped many people who have suffered and are suffering from cancer and receiving Chemo. Reiki does help, as it provides relaxation and emotional relief for the client, there is a blood cleaning treatment within Reiki which promotes rejuvination of blood cells. I am a Reiki Master and also a Reiki practitioner and treat Clients for various conditions.
I find that cancer sufferers do respond very well to a Reiki treatment, I am currently treating a relative who has suffered PMP a rare form of stomach cancer, he is post surgery and I currently give him Reiki once a week .
I would like to send you some distant reiki, as Reiki can be sent and is not bound by distance or Time. If you send me some details I will send you the Reiki, I will need your name, and location not your exact address, I am based in the UK so will try and time my distant healing whilst you&#039;re sleeping in the hope that you get a more relaxed refreshing sleep.

<description>LOVE your post--good for you taking care of yourself and keeping it all in perspective with humor. I will link to this so my Reiki students can have a sense of what it&#039;s like to go through chemo. It is both a wonderful thing and a challenge beyond what many people expect.

Fortunately Reiki is being offered increasingly at hospitals and treatment centers, so people can receive treatment before, during, or after their chemo or radiation treatments. It can help a lot with anxiety, pain, fatigue, feelings of hopelessness...

I wrote a peer-reviewed medical paper that can be accessed in the Medical Papers section at www.ReikiInMedicine.org. Patients often give it to their oncologists to make the case for Reiki to be added to the menu of services. Always good to ask, as sometimes it is available but there are no signs, or there may be a nurse who practices and would be happy to give you a brief sample. Even 5 minutes while you sit in a chair can take the edge off the day.

All the best to you!</description>
